Description
Pair of Thieves is a fiesty men’s basics brand. The company is self-described as a "wholesale-focused business supplemented with DTC sales". In a long-term contract role I worked remotely with the L.A. based E-commerce team. 
I seized numerous opportunities to contribute to the success of this less-attention-paid channel... DTC sales.
 
Initially working primarily on email and SMS campaigns, I eventually contributed to promotional strategies and facilitated A/B testing to maximize conversion through effective visual design of email templates, timing/send strategies, and segmentation in Klaviyo. I also designed and prepared graphic assets that aligned with emails for all other digital channels—affiliate marketing, social media, and paid advertising.
 
Collaborating with the Director of E-Commerce, Shopify Manager, and CRM Manager, I brought promotional campaigns to life, launched new site features such as Bear Packs and the Bundle Builder, and regularly maintained the design for all loyalty program marketing and communications. My background as a brand designer allowed me to both creatively conceptualize new executions and seamlessly apply pre-existing guidelines as needed.
 
In this role I have discovered how well suited I am for this area of design. Email design embodies the balance between UX/user-centered principals, strategic thinking and cohesive brand experience design—all within the realm of the digital world.
